Hi, I’m Karlie Story.

Helping people celebrate their special moments with something beautiful and sweet is a real joy for me. I love taking clients' stories, interests, and personalities and translating them into edible art. I have been creating cakes for 10 years, as head cake decorator in a bakery and now running my own business.

I enjoy working with lots of mediums - buttercream, fondant, wafer and rice paper, edible paint - to create a piece that makes you want to keep looking, to take it all in. I specialize in handmade sugar flowers, which can be kept as a memento of your big day.

Flavor is another part of the process I really enjoy - combining flavors that can be subtle or vibrant and adding textures like candied orange peel, crunchy shortbread crumbles, or toasted coconut. I know food and flavors can also be a big part of our traditions so I’m happy to work with you to create something that represents where you come from or that favorite dessert that was at every family gathering.
